Los Caballos

Created during a period of reflection on her home country, Los Caballos explores the tension between freedom and belonging. Two horses — one adorned, one wild — stand as symbols of love, restraint, and the human need for choice. Inspired by childhood memories and personal loss, the work questions whether we can ever be truly free without following what we love.

Hippocampus

Inspired by the fish-tailed horses of Greek mythology, Hippocampus pays tribute to the creatures said to carry Poseidon’s chariot across the sea. Long associated with freedom, love, and imagination, the figure becomes a reflection of the artist’s own values — myth made personal through movement and form.
